For the centre-right, Brugnaro in Venice and Parcaroli in Macerata were elected in the first round – The centre-left wins in Mantua with Palazzi and in Trento with Ianeselli – The other large municipalities in the ballot – Here are the results of the major cities

Municipal 2020: the results city by city

After 3 to 3 of the Regional , victory of the Yes in the referendum on the cut of the Parliamentarians, the time has come for municipal. The vote involved 958 municipalities. L'affluence final at the Municipalities was 66,19%, up by one percentage point from 65,18 five years ago.  

The focus was mainly on the result of the 1s5 capital municipalities, from Venice to Mantua, passing through Arezzo, Crotone, Reggio Calabria, Matera. Trento and Bolzano are also voting.

The center-right is taken in the first round Macerata e Venezia, where the outgoing center-right mayor Luigi Brugnaro received 54,1% of the votes.

A Mantova center-left candidate Mattia Palazzi wins hands down with 70,8% of the votes. For the centre-left, Franco Ianeselli (centre-left) was also elected in the first round a Trento and Amedeo Bottaro a Trani. All other Municipalities will go to the ballot.

MUNICIPALITIES 2020: RESULTS CITY BY CITY

VENEZIA: Luigi Brugnaro of the centre-right won with 54,1% in the Venice municipal elections, against 29,3% for the centre-left candidate, Pierpaolo Baretta.

MANTOVA: Victory in the first round for centre-left candidate Mattia Palazzi with 70,8% of the vote. Stefano Rossi of the centre-right stops at 22,2%.

MATERA: ballot between Rocco Sassone of the centre-right is at 30,4%, Domenico Bennardi of the M5s at 27,5%.

BOLZANO: ballot between Roberto Zanin of the centre-right (33,1%) and Renzo Caramaschi of the centre-left (34%).

TRENTO: Franco Ianeselli (centre-left) won with 54,7 percent of the votes, Andrea Merler of the centre-right reached 30,6%. 

REGGIO CALABRIA: ballot between Joseph Falcomatà (centre-left) at 37,1%, Nico Minicuci (centre-right) at 34%,

AREZZO: the ballot between Alessandro Ghinelli (centre-right) at 47,2% and the centre-left mayoral candidate Luciano Ralli is at 35,1%.

CHIETI: ballot between Fabrizio Di Stefano (right) with 38,8% and Pietro Diego Ferrara (center-left) with 21,5%,

CROTONE: ballot between Vincenzo Voce (Civic Lists) with 36,1%, Antonio Manica (centre-right) with 41,6%.

Lecco: ballot between Giuseppe Ciresa (center-right) is at 48,7%, Mauro Gattinoni (center-left) at 41,7%.

ANDRIA: ballot between the center-left candidate Bruno with 38,1% and Coratella of the M5s with 20,7.

STOPPED: Calcinaro (civic lists) was elected in the first round with 71,4% of the votes.

MACERATED: elected in the first round of the centre-right Partecaroli with 52,8% of the votes.

TRANI: Bottaro (centre-left) elected in the first round with 65,4% of the votes.
