Poste Italiane got the Single ISO 45001:2023 certification is preferably used for Health and safety management at work. The international recognition, issued by IMQ, is the result of a long journey that the company began in 2019 and concluded in 2024 with the certification and attests to Poste Italiane's ability to guarantee a safe working environment in line with the highest standards of protection for all its employees.
By adopting the ISO 45001:2023 standard, Poste Italiane applies a structured management system which includes effective and constantly monitored measures to reduce the risks of accidents and occupational diseases, as well as prevent potentially dangerous situations. The recognition is part of a process of continuous improvement of safety conditions, to promote the diffusion of the culture of protection and well-being at every corporate level.
With the Certification the company sees itsapplication of best standards in terms of safety, demonstrating that it has been able to effectively transfer corporate policies in favor of the health of women and men of Poste Italiane to the field, in line with the culture of responsibility of the largest employer in the country. The adoption of the ISO 45001:2023 standard will promote the constant improvement of safety performance, with the aim of creating an increasingly protected work environment and consolidating the corporate culture oriented towards prevention and respect for safety, to guarantee all employees the highest level of protection.
The single ISO 45001:2023 certification adds to a series of important recognitions obtained by Poste Italiane for its sustainability and social responsibility policies. These include ISO 30415:2021 certifications for inclusion and valorization of diversity, UNI/PdR 125:2022 for gender equality, ISO 37001:2016 for corruption prevention and ISO 37301:2021 for compliance management. The achievement of these certifications attests to the Group's ability to adopt rigorous and effective measures to guarantee high ethical and social standards
