Colao in Cernobbio: state cloud open to all but with clear rules

Two strong messages from the Minister of Technological Innovation, Colao, at the Ambrosetti Forum in Cernobbio: Europe's technological autonomy from the US and the open state cloud

Colao in Cernobbio: state cloud open to all but with clear rules

After the strongly pro-European message from President Sergio Mattarella and after the intervention of the Eurocommissioner for Economic Affairs, Paolo Gentiloni who argued that the next fiscal compact must have more realistic rules especially on public debt, he was the Minister for Technological Innovation Vittorio Colao, former CEO of Vodafone, today to occupy the scene of the Ambrosetti Forum in Cernobbio with two very important signals.

In the first place, Colao stressed that Europe's strategic autonomy on a technological level is "fundamental" by creating "opportunities for the birth of a European giant" as the United States has done for some time. But no less relevant is the message launched by Colao in Cernobbio on the state cloud: "There will be room for everyone - underlined the minister - but with clear rules" established by the Cybersecurity Agency which will be illustrated on Tuesday. As for the single network, the minister confirmed the Government's neutrality, arguing that the problem no longer concerns the Executive but the companies in the sector: "I'll leave this to others to debate" he cut short.
