Un hybrid electric tractor for the agriculture of the future. The announcement comes from the company Cnh Industrial Italy, active in the production of agricultural and construction machinery. The group presented the project to the Mise which envisages the development of an electric hybrid technology, therefore diesel and electric, for tractors in the Modena plant.
In particular, the resources to finance the intervention amount to a total of 39,4 million euros, of which the Ministry of Economic Development provides facilities for 7,9 million euros.
The initiative is in line with the company's multi-year strategic plan which aims to identify sustainable technological solutions from an environmental point of view, explains the company in a note, focusing on the creation of a special hybrid electric tractor zero emissions and on improving the performance of the machinery through a virtual simulator.
