Green light from the French Consob, the AMF, to the improved offer presented by the Chinese Fosun for the Club Mediterranee. In a note published yesterday afternoon, the supervisory body established that the price offered by the Chinese consortium is 2% higher than that of the competing consortium: both on the shares, for which 22 euros were offered each, and on the bonds 23,30 are proposed.
Thus, for now, the offer launched by Andrea Bonomi of 21 euros per share has been beaten but based on the prospectus, a raise is still possible: the launch of the public offer is informally set for 17 October, tomorrow, while the conclusion is expected on 20 November and the publication of the final data by the 27th. We are waiting ad horas for the AMF to formalize the calendar.
