Club Med, half yes to Andrea Bonomi

The French group's board of directors judged Global Resorts' offer compliant, but expressed "reservations on the strategy and on some contradictory statements that appeared in the press".

Half yes from Club Med to Andrea Bonomi. In fact, if on the one hand the CDA of Club Mediterranee unanimously established yesterday that the offer of 21 euros per share of the Global Resort led by the Italian financier Andrea Bonomi is "in accordance with the interests of the shareholders and recommends to those seeking immediate liquidity to bring their titles".

However, the board of the French group also has reservations and underlines that "taking into account the doubts about the strategy and some contradictory statements that appeared in the press, it does not believe it can confirm without reservations the compliance of the offer with the interests of the company". In any case, Bonomi was satisfied, who through a press release released in French made it known that he approved the board's decision: “A stage has been reached and our offer continues on its journey. We are impatient to launch the next operations in order to put the shareholders in a position to take advantage of our offer”, the brief note reads.
