The financial battle for control of the Mediterranean Club. After the relaunch of the consortium led by the Italian Andrea Bonomi, the Chinese group Fosun and his allies prepare for a new counter-raise. This was announced to the Financial Times by the Brazilian financier Nelson Tanure, partner of the company Gaillon Invest

Tanure did not specify the amount of the new offer, but did reveal that two new investors could strengthen the ranks of Gaillon Invest, which supports Fosun against Bonomi.

Previously, with the latest relaunch, the Italian-led consortium had reached the point of offering 24 euros per share, a sum which corresponds to an overall valuation of Club Med equal to 41 million euros. At this point, the takeover bid on the resort company became the longest ever launched on the French market.

Opening today on the Paris Stock Exchange, the Club Med share gains 0,4%, to 24,5 euros.
