I loans to businesses and households by CiviBank return to growth. A result that confirms the positive trend of the last three years: a del% increase 38, For a total of 366,3 million euro disbursed to businesses and households. In particular, families in the Northeast see a 70,8% increase in the amount disbursed to them, driven by first home mortgages and green tax bonuses.
In detail, the growth in the amount disbursed amounted to 100,8 million euro compared to the same period of 2020. The new disbursements to companies they have reached i 245,3 million (+26%), of which 83,9 million are represented by loans backed by state guarantees disbursed under the measures of the "Liquidity Decree" (SME Guarantee Fund), equal to 34,2% of disbursed to companies in the first 6 months of the 'Current year. As regards the families, CiviBank registers a + 70,8 % of the amount disbursed to them compared to the same period of 2020, corresponding to +49,9 million euros.
Driving this growth are home loans e funding for Ecobonus. In the first case, particularly low mortgage rates (both fixed and variable rates), encourage families to invest in a home. Despite a slight rise in the rate in 2021, from 1,27% in January to 1,44% in June, this positive trend continues. Recent statements by the ECB have also given a boost: promising credit rates at these same levels if not lower for at least another three years.
Another positive driver for mortgage growth is the support of First Home Mortgage Fund guarantee. The increase in loans to households also sees the protagonist Eco-loan, the financing for energy efficiency provided in particular to take advantage of green benefits and bonuses such as the Ecobonus and the Superbonus.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the 2020 figure was also influenced by the first months of the blockade of 2020 (in particular March and April), which slowed down activities, but also blocked the mobility of people. In any case, this first half of 2021 turns out to be even better than the same period of 2019, confirming constant long-term growth for CiviBank, despite the adversities.
