Capital increase completed for Civibank, whose board of directors formalized the data and outcome. The request for the readmission of the title was also approved in the same session Civibank SpA to trading on the Hi-mtf stock market, trading which could start again as early as next week.
According to a statement, the operation ended on 30 September with the first auction for new shareholders: in fact, in a single session all the shares reserved for new shareholders were subscribed, for a total of 7.394.184 and a value of 38.967.349,68. A further 2.089.041 shares were subscribed during the offer period under option to existing shareholders, with issue on 21 September, for a countervalue of €11.009.246,07. The total number of new shares issued and placed therefore stands at 9.483.225. The capital increase was therefore subscribed for the entire approved amount, for a total of 49.976.595,75.
"The success of the operation and the increased capital endowment allow us to continue our important growth path with conviction, as outlined in the current Strategic Plan - commented the president Michela Del Piero -. In particular, having an additional 50 million euros of assets allows us to increase loans to households and businesses in the area by over 430 million euros over the period of the plan, a decisive support for the post-Covid emergency economic recovery, as well as increasing the bank's capital solidity further. Other resources will be used in the important digitization process underway and for the opening of new branches: in a few days, on 18 October, we will inaugurate the new Trieste branch in Via Flavia, and then we will open in Padua in Via Matteotti and in Trento” .
The capital increase was attended by important companies and regional bodies of the North-East, which are now among the main shareholders of Civibank: the Bolzano Savings Bank, the insurance partners Itas ed Helvetia, the Friulia regional finance company, the Foundation Savings Bank of Carpi, the Foundations Friuli and CR Gorizia, the SEAC Fin of Trento, the multi-utility BlueEnergy of Udine, the BPER of Modena, the financial ones Trentino Development e Athens financial initiatives.
They also trusted Civibank, by subscribing important shares of the capital increase, also significant industrial and entrepreneurial realities in particular from the Veneto, but also from Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Province of Trento, as well as some family groups of reference, in particular from Udine, Trieste and Pordenone.
