Thursday December 5 2024, 9.30 hours, will be held in Rome and streaming the event "Circularity at a Crossroads: Niche or Industrial Model?”. On this occasion, the new Manifesto of the Alliance for Circular Economy, the first private initiative in Italy, coordinated by act, which defines objectives and programmatic proposals on circularity, thanks to the contribution of 10 large Italian companies: A2a, Aquafil, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Cantabrian, Enel, Hera, state Railways, Understanding St. Paul, Mayor e Touring Club ItalianoThe Manifesto intends to outline a path towards a transition to a more sustainable and circular economic model, laying the foundations for concrete change in industrial and corporate policies.
The program of the event “Circularity at a crossroads: niche or industrial model?”
The event will start with registration and a welcome coffee at 9.30, followed by institutional greetings from Stefano Clerics, managing director of Agici. At 10.05 Alessandra Little Garzarella, director of the circular economy area of Agici, will provide an in-depth analysis of global scenarios and the importance of circularity in this context. A series of important interventions will follow, including the keynote speech by Matteo Caroli, full professor of economics and management of international businesses at Luiss University, Maria Siclari, director general of ISPRA, and Mark Ravazzolo, director of the environmental, energy and mobility policy area of Confindustria.
At 10.55 a round table will be held on the theme of the circular economy for the competitiveness of Italian companies, with interventions by Elena Maggioni (A2a Environment), Roberto fervent (Cdp), Eric Gerritsen (Coast), Massimiliano Tellini (Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center), Nicoletta Antonias (RFI) and Massimiliano vavassors (Touring). The discussion will be moderated by Rosaria Amato, journalist for La Repubblica.
At 11.45, there will be a panel on the roadmap for an industrial development model, with contributions from Giulio Bonazzi (Aquafil), John Tula (Enel), Carlo andriolus (AcegasApsAmga – Hera), and representatives of Maire. This intervention will also be moderated by Rosaria beloved.
The event will conclude with the institutional conclusions of Mauro Wheels, president of the Environment Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, and Laura D'Aprile, head of the sustainable development department of Mase. Finally, at 12.45, the Manifesto will be signed, in the presence of representatives of the companies involved, including Elena Maggioni (A2a Environment), Julius Bonazzi (Aquafil), Gaia Ghirardi (Cdp), Eric Gerritsen (Coast), Carlo andriolus (AcegasApsAmga – Hera), Viviana Bacigalupo (Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center) and Giulio Lattanzi (Touring).
