Carlo De Benedetti's Cir group closed the first nine months of 2011 with a declining net profit. In the same period last year profits had been 53,7 million while since January 2011 they have stopped at 15 million. Revenues showed a slight increase, quantified at 3,3 billion. Ebitda amounted to 340,3 million, +17,5% compared to 2010.
The company explained that last year the subsidiary Sorgenia had benefited from a non-recurring component, represented by a tax credit. The main subsidiaries of the group, in addition to the aforementioned Sorgenia, are Espresso, Kos and Sogefi.
