The succession in the De Benedetti house is completed. During the board meeting on the third quarter accounts Carlo De Benedetti announced that in the coming weeks, he will transfer control of the group to his three children free of charge, Rodolfo, Marco and Edoardo. This completes the succession process within the group that began three and a half years ago, in 2009 when the engineer gave up his operational positions. Rodolfo he will be appointed executive chairman of Cir and also of Cofide. In turn Rodolfo will propose, in agreement with the family, to nominate Monica Mondardini CEO of Cir, also with the aim, explains a note, of further strengthening the managerial structure of the group. Mondardini will maintain the position of managing director of the L'Espresso Publishing Group. As far as the accounts are concerned, in the first nine months of 2012 the Cir group recorded revenues of 3.625,8 million euros (+9,8% compared to the same period last year) and a net loss of 10 million against a profit of 15 million.
