Cinema and TV, credit from Intesa and Sace

Mediocredito Italiano, a bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo group, and Sace BT, a company specializing in credit insurance, sureties and construction risk protection, have signed an agreement to support producers of cinematographic and television audiovisual works.

Mediocredito Italiano, the bank of the Intesa Sanpaolo group specializing in financing for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and Sace BT, a company specializing in credit insurance, sureties and construction risk protection, have signed an agreement to support the producers of works audiovisual, cinematographic and television and facilitate access to credit at a crucial time for the economy of the sector.

Intesa Sanpaolo, through Mediocredito Italiano as a bank specialized in supporting SMEs, will be able to provide film industry operators with a complete service, which includes: financial coverage of project costs; a dedicated specialist service, by the Media & Entertainment Desk, with particular attention to the time lag between financial income and expenditure, typical of the sector, structuring the most suitable forms of financing; the surety policy requested by the main clients (such as RAI, SKY and Warner) to guarantee the obligations assumed with the audiovisual production contracts.
