From today, April 20, the price of blondes increases. A substantial increase that will inflict a severe blow on the finances of Italian smokers.
Twenty cents more on all the brands belonging to Philip Morris, from Merit (soft) to Marlboro, from Diana to Chesterfield, despite the fact that the first two in particular are already among the most expensive products on the market.
But, unfortunately for the 11 million Italian smokers, that's not all. Because today's price hike will soon be followed by another increase. In the coming days, in fact, the retouching will also affect other brands, such as MS, which instead are, or rather were, cheaper. Only the chopped meat will be saved, at least for the moment. For the rest, the sting will strike on a generalized level.
It should be noted that from 2006 to 2016, the price of cigarettes rose by 25%.
