Detroit automaker sales grow by 20% in April in the wake of a constant improvement in the financial situation of the Group led by Sergio Marchionne.
The company notified yesterday that it has sold more than 141 thousand vehicles, the best performance in April in the past four years. The figure consolidates a positive streak of 25 months steadily increasing of registrations.
The Chrysler brand sold well in both the car and truck catalogs: the Jeep Wrangler did well (+35%), but it was the sedans that dragged the brand upwards, growing by 61% compared to April 2011. In the pickups, growth stood at solid foundations but less brilliant (+19%).
Also good Fiat 500 (3800 registrations), and contextual leap of the share to Piazza Affari, which at 9,20 gains almost 2%.
