November was a record month for Chrysler Group in the United States. The Detroit giant, controlled by the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) group, recorded a 20% increase in registrations, to 170.839 units, from 142.275 in the same period last year.

It was the best November since 2001 for the American brand and the 56th consecutive month of sales increases. Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck and Fiat brands all saw sales climb over the same period last year, according to the company's statement.

Sales of the Fiat brand, however, also in the United States, rose by 1% last month, marking the best November since 2012. The driving force was the 20% increase compared to last year in registrations of the 500L , which marked the best November ever.
