“The numbers speak for themselves”: the Italian-American manager uses enthusiastic tones after the great result brought home by the Detroit giant – “It is the confirmation that the 2009 plan works”.

The result achieved by Chrysler in the third quarter “it was outstanding, the numbers speak for themselves”. This is the comment by Sergio Marchionne, managing director of the Detroit company and of the parent company Fiat, regarding the latest published balance sheet data.

"It is the confirmation that the 2009 plan is working – added the Italian-Canadian manager – and we look to 2012 with confidence. Basically, I have no negative news to give".

Between July and September, the Chrysler group recorded a net profit of 212 million dollars, taking into account the net loss of 84 million suffered in the same period last year.

As for a possible Ipo for the American company – specified Marchionne – before taking such a step into consideration “it is necessary wait for the markets to be stable".
