Christie's: Contemporary Art and Design together for the new “NOMAD” St. Moritz edition

This private sales exhibition is responding to the continuing circumstances this year, with NOMAD and Christie's joining forces to offer guests, clients and galleries an exceptional experience, rich in content and accessible to a new global audience of collectors. NOMAD will host a parallel edition of St. Moritz this summer, through a digital platform hosted by Christie's London, and reaching a wider audience than ever before.

They will be presented approx 24 extraordinary design objects and works of art from all over the world. The variety and intrinsic artistic quality of this collection of objects is a testament to NOMAD's unique position at the intersection of design and art. Contemporary works by Swedish painter Mamma Andersson and Brazilian designer Ines Schertel will be paired with collectible designs such as Alessandro Mendini's for ALPI and Alighiero Boetti's 1987 art. Collaborations presented for the first time at NOMAD will also be included in the selection. ST. MORITZ as The Palm Duet Chaise Longue by Loro Piana Interiors, designed by Raphael Navot.

NOMAD ST.MORITZ 2021 will be the first Alpine summer edition it will do restart the season of collectible design and contemporary art. After the long winter of the pandemic and surrounded by the pristine landscape of the Engadine Valley, NOMAD will bring together its hand-picked roster of galleries from Beirut, Rio, New York, Zurich and beyond. Invigorated by the freshness of summer in the mountains and an increased presence of contemporary art with the show NOMAD YESMAD curated by artist Kenny Schachter, NOMAD will shine brighter than ever in July.
