The technical infrastructure was built with the latest product from MoonPay, Web3 Tools. Art + Tech Summit with this partnership will facilitate cryptocurrency-powered auction transactions.
At the end of the summit, the participants who were able to scan and collect four works of art received a special gift from the partner artist of Christie's, Niceaunties (no purchase required).
Curated and produced in collaboration with Fellowship, Niceaunties' commission titled “Along the River in Auntieverse” reimagines Zhang Zeduan's classic “Along the River during the Qingming Festival.” This series translates historical narrative into contemporary commentary on environmental and social issues. Using the techniques of artificial intelligence and the architectural background of Niceaunties, the series depicts interconnected scenes unified by the motif of water. They range from idyllic landscapes to depictions of environmental degradation, reflecting humanity's impact on nature.
This experience continues the tradition established by Robbie Barrat, to whom Christie's had previously commissioned the production of 300 unique AI-generated nude portraits, now known as the “Lost Robbies” collection, which has become iconic in the history of AI art.
