Chicco Testa returns to the top of an electricity company. The former president of Enel at the time of Franco Tatò and previously of Acea and currently president of Assoelettrica and Telit, will be called by the meeting next Friday to the presidency of Sorgenia which will also change the CEO with the appointment of Gianfilippo Mancini, also former Enel.
Testa will not have an easy task because he will have to follow with Mancini the recapitalization process of the company which has experienced very complicated years and which is now completing the debt restructuring agreed with the banks.
The new president of Sorgenia, as "Il Sole 24 Ore" wrote, will also have to help redefine the industrial and commercial strategy of the electricity company. But from his head he has the experience and knowledge of the sector as well as a vast network of relationships, including institutional ones, and a proven ability to work as a team.
