ChiantiBanca unexpectedly renounces the spa and joins forces with Trentino

ChiantiBanca, the second Bcc of Tuscany chaired by Lorenzo Bini Smaghi (formerly ECB), surprisingly renounces the way out of cooperative credit and the transformation into a joint stock company, requested last June from the Bank of Italy, and completely changes course by joining the national group of the CCBs led by the thirty Cassa Centrale.

This is the surprising result of the meeting of San Casciano Val d'Elsa, which had been convened by ChiantiBanca to approve the exit from the cooperative credit and the transformation into a joint stock company and which instead ended almost unanimously in a completely different direction with the alliance with the Cassa Centrale, of which the Tuscan Bcc already adopts the IT platform, and which aims to become the sixth national banking group as an alternative to Federcasse, which yesterday also lost the Bcc di Cambiano, the third Bcc of Italy which has instead chosen the way out by merging with Banca Agci.
