CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – Rematch for Bayern who tamed Borussia in the Cesarini area and won the Cup: 2 to 1

CHAMPIONS – In the middle of the Cesarini area, Bayern, after failing in two finals, won the Cup against a good Borussia: 2 to 1 with the decisive goal from Robben who apologized for a thousand mistakes – Borussia had started better but died in the final – Mandzukic's first goal and then Gundogan's provisional penalty draw – It's the fifth Bavarian Cup

The Bavarians of Bayern Munich are the new European champions. With two minutes to go, a goal from Robben, who had previously missed two golden chances, gave the big-eared Cup to what will be Pep Guardiola's future team. Thus, after losing two consecutive finals, Bayern reconciled with fate and won its fifth Champions League. But Borussia held up the match well and came out of the all-German final in London with their heads held high.

In the 60th minute Bayern, who had started badly and showed impressive psychological insecurity, broke the deadlock and took the lead through the usual Mandzukic following a pass from Robben. Eight minutes later Borussia grabbed the equalizer from a penalty converted by Gundogan. But soon after Borussia faded away and Bayern took over the reins of the game.

When the nightmare of extra time loomed, Robben reconciled with his fans by scoring the winning goal two minutes from time. Bayern are European champions and if they win the German Cup they will score a historic treble.
