From 23 September to 22 October, the Big Eared Cup will visit 8 cities in as many regions. Thanks to UniCredit, the UEFA Champions League trophy will thus return to Italy after the final with the Madrid derby played at the Meazza stadium in San Siro on 28 May 2016.
The Trophy Tour, aboard the characteristic red truck, will once again populate the Italian squares after having visited 16 Central and Eastern European countries in which UniCredit is present, involving over 650.000 visitors. The first leg of the ninth UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour will take place in Milan on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September. Afterwards the Trophy will visit 7 other cities: Turin, Verona, Bologna,
Bari, Palermo, Naples and Rome. During the tour, football fans will have the opportunity to receive their photo with the Trophy and to personally meet some famous footballers who took part in the UEFA Champions League in the past years.
In each of the 8 stops it will be possible to admire the Cup with Big Ears exhibited on the original "Red Truck": built specifically for the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour, the exceptional means of transport is capable of accommodating an exhibition space of approximately
200 square meters.
The Trophy will be displayed on the upper floor, on the balcony, offering passers-by the opportunity to take unique photos and selfies. In addition to the opportunity to immortalize this personal moment with the Trophy, visitors will be able to participate in fun and interactive activities, and visit an exciting exhibition of memorabilia autographed by some of the Champions who have made the history of the UEFA Champions League.
