Champions, the final will be Juve-Real Madrid

Zidane's men suffer against Atletico, they go down 2-0 but take home their second consecutive final, third in four years: in Cardiff on 3 June they will play against Juventus.

Champions, the final will be Juve-Real Madrid

From next season, Atletico Madrid will no longer play in the Vicente Calderon stadium: the derby with Real Madrid was officially the colchoneros' last European match in their fort, which they honored with a 2-1 victory which, however, was not enough to qualifying for the final on 3 June in Cardiff. Real Madrid will therefore join Juve in Wales, who will attempt a historic double: for Zidane, who had never coached until a year and a half ago, it is the second consecutive final, and a team has never managed to win two Champions League League in a row (since the competition has this name).

Zizou, who has already won two Champions Leagues also as a player with the Merengues, will therefore try to bring home the 12th cup in the history of the most successful club in Europe: 11 titles in 14 finals played, the one against Juventus will be the fifteenth. The two teams have already met once in the final, it was 1998 and Real won in Amsterdam with a goal from Mijatovic.
