UBI Banca and the National Consortium of Social Cooperation (CGM) signed an agreement this morning, 18th July 2018, which opens the doors to the bank's social platform, known as UBI Welfare, to the cooperative group.

The partnership will allow customers who have chosen the UBI Banca welfare service to be able to count on cooperatives active on a national scale in services dedicated to personal care, health and education, but also the environment, housing, technology, art and culture, tourism, job support. In fact, CGM brings together 58 territorial consortia, distributed throughout the national territory, which coordinate the activities of over 700 social enterprises.

“This partnership is very important – explains Rossella Leidi Chief Wealth and Welfare Officer and Deputy General Manager of UBI Banca – as it is perfectly consistent with UBI Banca's vision of corporate welfare, which sees the creation of subsidiary territorial welfare ecosystems and the enhancement and support to the third sector, qualifying and distinctive elements for the benefit of workers, businesses and territories.”

Thanks to the UBI Welfare division – active for over a year – UBI Banca offers an advanced consultancy service for the creation of welfare plans for large, medium and small businesses. “For CGM, this partnership with UBI proves to be an authentic strategic driver for the growth of our network and for the simultaneous opening to private markets”, declares Stefano Granata, President of CGM. “We believe it is important that UBI has found in us a player capable of offering services dedicated to personal care and education throughout the country. Our further commitment will be linked to guaranteeing the quality of the services offered through a careful selection of operators in the area”, concludes Granata.
