Ceramics of Italy brings the best of Italian ceramics to Clerkenwell Design Week 2025

For the fourth consecutive year, theItalian ceramic excellence è protagonist at Clerkenwell Design Week, scheduled from 20 to 22 May in the creative heart of London. Inside a temporary pavilion set up in St. John's Square, 17 Italian companies present their nnew collections designed specifically for the British market. These are: ABK Group Studio, AcquarioDue, Casalgrande Padana, Ceramica Sant'Agostino, Ceramiche Keope, Marca Corona, Refin, CE.SI., Supergres, Etruria Design, Gruppo Bardelli, Imola Ceramica, La Faenza, Paul&Co, Settecento, SIMAS and Tonalite.

The initiative is promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and ICE-Agenzia, which thus renew their commitment to strengthen the international presence of Made in Italy. At the heart of their participation is the desire to enhance the quality, versatility and sustainable design of Italian ceramic surfaces in one of the most prestigious contexts on the European scene.

Clerkenwell Design Week

Now in its 14th edition, the Clerkenwell Design Week is today one of the most influential appointments for contemporary design. With over 160 showrooms, 15 exhibition venues and hundreds of collateral events, the festival represents a strategic hub for dialogue with architects, designers and operators in the sector from across the UK and Northern Europe.

In addition to the individual exhibition spaces, Ceramics of Italy organize an info point with ICE-Agency to provide a complete overview of the Italian ceramic industry and anticipate the new features of the next edition di cersaie in Bologna. Technical workshops, business-to-business meetings and networking moments mark the three days of the fair, offering concrete opportunities for professional discussion.

Ceramics and sustainability: a dialogue between matter and architecture

Among most anticipated events of this edition stands out the talk organized by ITA – Italian Trade Agency entitled “Italian ceramics – A Responsible Choice for Contemporary Architecture”, scheduled for Wednesday 21 May at 18.30pm at YOTEL London City. The meeting, moderated by Lorenzo Pandolfi (FORM), will see the participation of Consuelo Manna, Head of Project Management at Heatherwick Studio, and Kenneth Graham, Sustainability Manager at SOLUS Ceramics.

The debate will highlight the an increasingly central role of ceramic surfaces in the sustainable design and in urban regeneration, offering a reflection on the links between technological innovation, aesthetics and environmental responsibility. An opportunity to reaffirm the value of Italian ceramics as a conscious choice for the architecture of the present and the future.
