Ceramics by Pablo Picasso: 100% sold at Christie's online auction

Christie's “Picasso Ceramics” auction (May 5-20), exclusively online, it totaled $761.125, selling 100% by lot and 100% by value. The sale reached nearly double its low pre-sale estimate of $396.400.

Visage aux yeux rieurs (AR 608)
stamped, marked and numbered “Edition Picasso / Madoura Plein Feu / Edition Picasso / Madoura / 44/350” (below)
white earthenware jug, partially incised, with colored engobe and glaze. Height: 33,5cm. Conceived on January 9, 1969 and executed in a numbered edition of 350. The sale was led by Pablo Picasso's Visage aux yeux rieurs (608 AD), which fetched $68.750, against a low estimate of $40.000.

Additional top lots for sale include Femme du barbu (193 AR) which realized $47.500, against a low estimate of $20.000.
