ADMINISTRATIVE ELECTIONS - In Sicily, as in the rest of Italy, the center-left wins, while the center-right fails and the grillini struggles - Enzo Bianco's victory is already official in Catania - Ballots in Syracuse and Ragusa - The situation in Messina is uncertain: possible victory of Pd candidate Felice Calabro already from the first round.

Center-left also in the lead in Sicily: Bianco mayor of Catania

The scrutiny of the electoral ballots in Sicily is nearing its conclusion, where it is being composed a picture similar to that of the rest of Italy, with the center-left leading everywhere and the failure of the center-right in what was one of its strongholds. The only anomaly, compared to the national picture, is the great success of some civic lists.

It was an important test, the Sicilian one: for Governor Crocetta, who passed it, and for the Movimento 5 Stelle, which had obtained its first important response in terms of consensus precisely at the Sicilian regional elections, and which, despite the poor results flattering, can console himself with the ballot in Ragusa.

A Catania is official victory in the first round of the candidate of the center Enzo Bianco who with 50,6% of the votes clearly detaches the outgoing mayor Raffaele Stancanelli (PDL), at 36,6%. Grillina candidate Lidia Adorno received only 3,3% of the vote.

Ballot now secure, however, a SIRACUSA, even if the poll has not finished yet. In the second round, the center-left candidate Giancarlo Garozzo, who received 31,3% of the votes, and Paolo Ezechia Reale (27,19%), supported by some civic lists and part of the Pdl, will clash. Detached Edy Bandiera, candidate of Pdl and Udc.

A Ragusa the ballot is official between Giovanni Cosentini, center-left candidate supported by a very large coalition, which also includes the UDC, with 29,3% of the votes, and grillino Federico Piccitto who leads by a neck (15,6% to 15%) the PDL Antoci.

More the situation in Messina is uncertain, where centre-left candidate Felice Calabro leads with 50,1% of the vote. Possible, therefore, a victory for him already from the first round. The pacifist activist Renato Accorinti would contend for the seat of mayor in a possible ballot, supported by one of his civic lists, which detaches the PDL candidate Vincenzo Garofalo.

Celebrating the governor Crocetta, who speaks of victory and of "revolution in Sicily" and extends his hand to the 5 Star Movement: "I hope that a debate will open in the movement and there will be an rapprochement of positions with the center-left".

The final turnout was 66,07%, down on the previous session.
