Special awards were given to the singer-songwriter and showman Renzo Arbore and to Dr. Riccardo Masetti, Gemelli oncologist and founder and promoter of the Susan Komen Race for the cure.

"With the fourth edition of the PAIR Award, we are continuing the mission of the Centro Studi Americani to constantly cultivate and strengthen the historical ties between Italy and the USA” declared Gianni De Gennaro, president of the Centro Studi Americani.

"Rewarding personalities who have promoted Italian excellence in the United States and American excellence in Italy means contributing to consolidating the friendship that binds the two countries and concretely promoting collaboration between the two peoples on both sides of the Atlantic" Letta said.
