Centrale del Latte d'Italia strengthens its alliance in China with Alibaba. One year after the start of the partnership, the Italian company opens its first virtual store on Tmall, the largest "business-to-consumer" platform of the Chinese e-commerce giant, which gives access to an immense market, with 576 million active users every year.

The virtual shop, informs Cli in a press release, offers products under the Mukki brand, the group's Tuscan brand. Among the references, long-life milk declined in different formats, cooking cream and that for pastry shops.

Thanks to the agreement signed in October 2017, "in just 23 months Cli has sold over 1,5 million liters of products", continues the note.

Overall, the exports of Centrale del Latte d'Italia rose from 944 thousand euros as at 30 September 2017 to 2,6 million as at 30 September 2018.

In addition to e-commerce, Centrale del Latte d`Italia also enters the traditional large-scale distribution chains Hema and RT-Mart, recently integrated within the Alibaba group.
