Cdp: all anti-crisis interventions for businesses

New loans in collaboration with the banking system, but also a package of moratoriums and payment extensions, loans for internationalization and a new guarantee instrument to support businesses

Cdp: all anti-crisis interventions for businesses

In times of the coronavirus crisis, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (Cdp) has implemented a series of initiatives aimed at supporting the Italian economy.

The main measure in favor of businesses è a ceiling of 7 billion euro for new credit lines. The initiative, carried out in partnership with the banking system, aims to increase the cash liquidity of the companies, favoring investments, export and internationalization activities.

In addition, businesses will also benefit from a package of moratoriums and deferred payments. This measure too, like the previous one, stems from the collaboration between Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and the entire Italian credit system.

It's not over. Cdp is also creating a new guarantee instrument to support businesses. The measure, which was designed to provide additional liquidity to medium and large Italian companies, "will be operational within a few weeks and, thanks to the state counter-guarantee, will be able to guarantee new loans of up to 10 billion euros", assures the group in a note.

Then there are subsidized loans for internationalisation (regulated by Law No. 394). On this front, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti is strengthening the revolving fund (Law no. 394/81), which currently supports companies through subsidized loans for internationalization, with the establishment of a separate section of the same Fund, which will allow co - non-repayable loans up to 50% of the loans granted. The selection criteria and methods of disbursement of the new loans will be established in the coming weeks by the Subsidy Committee.

In the meantime, internally, the CDP Group ensures the full operation of its smartworking services.

Cdp then let it be known that Sace Simest, the export and internationalization pole of the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group, has activated some insurance-financial solutions to support the Regions with new loans.

In particular, Sace will be able to issue guarantees and insurance coverage to support the purchase from abroad (direct or intermediate) by the Regions of goods necessary for the management of the health emergency, such as medical devices and diagnostic tools. Sace will guarantee bank loans or other credit intermediaries for the purchase of supplies and will offer its own insurance coverage directly to foreign suppliers.

In this way, the Regions will immediately obtain financial resources and payment extensions, as well as receive the goods in the shortest possible time.

To request support and information, the dedicated line is active tel. 06.6736002 and an email: emergency.regioni@sace.it.
