On the other hand, the sale could guarantee the state coffers five billion euros, which would be used to reduce the public debt. In fact, the assets of the entire CDP group exceed 33 billion.

It remains to be seen who that 15% could go to: institutional investors, funds or foreign banks. Any buyers they could be attracted by an attractive yield prospect, considering that the latest dividend distributed by CDP amounted to 850 million euros.
