The shareholders' meeting of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti approved the first budget of the Palermo era. The 2018 financial year, the first with Fabrizio Palermo in the role of managing director, closed with a net profit of 2,5 billion euros, up 15,3%. A result to which the increase in the intermediation margin contributed, which amounted to 3,8 billion euro (+32,6%).

Based on the results achieved, the company will distribute a dividend of 1,55 billion euros. We recall that Cassa Depositi e Presti is 82,77% controlled by the MEF and 16% by the banking foundations which are therefore preparing to receive the rich coupon approved by the company, with a payout that exceeds 61%.

In addition to the approval for the financial statements and the dividend, the shareholders' meeting also appointed the new members of the Board of Statutory Auditors who will remain in office until the shareholders' meeting called to approve the 2021 financial statements. In detail, the standing auditors are Carlo Corradini (Chairman), Franca Brusco, Giovanni Battista Lo Prejato, Mario Romano Negri and Enrica Salvatore.
