CDP buys Blu Salento Village for 23 million

Cdp Investimenti, through its Fondo Investimenti Turismo – FIT, has acquired the Blu Salento Village, a 307-room tourist facility located in S.Isidoro (Lecce) for a sum of 23 million euros.

The acquisition by the FIT Fund provides for continuity in the management of the structure, currently managed by Blu Hotels, which will be guaranteed by a long-term lease contract. Thanks to this, the seller will also have the opportunity to complete and modernize 3 other hotel structures in the Salento area.

The General Manager of CDP Investimenti SGR Marco Sangiorgio commented as follows: "The Blu Salento operation confirms our growth model based on the separation between real estate ownership and management, in a sector such as the hotel sector which can generate a highly positive impact on the territory , particularly in Southern Italy.”

“This agreement is a recognition for us and commits us, more than we have done in our first 25 years of activity, to interpret Italian hospitality. The stability that derives from this operation allows us to further increase the quality level of our services, the key to excellence on a global level” comments Nicola Risatti, President and CEO of Blu Hotels.
