Cdp opens a new office in Turin

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti will open a new office in Turin. This is foreseen in the memorandum of understanding signed by the CEO of the company, Fabrizio Palermo, and by the mayor of the Piedmontese capital, Chiara Appendino.

The new headquarters will open within six to nine months, with locations in the city centre. The same agreement establishes a joint commitment to support the metropolitan area to strengthen local infrastructures, the development of the urban system and the productive fabric.

In the infrastructure sector, Cassa Depositi "will evaluate active management operations of the Municipality's debt portfolio also in order to free up financial resources for the direct benefit of the community and local development, in which the CDP Group has already actively participated in the last three years". reads the company's note.

CDP will also provide advisory services to strengthen the local public transport system and other strategic works for the area.

In the real estate sector, the collaboration aims at enhancing the municipal heritage and urban regeneration. In social housing, with Fondo Investimenti per l'Abitare, the CDP Group has invested a total of 200 million euro for the construction of around 1.200 social housing and around 1.300 beds in temporary and university residences.

As regards businesses, CDP and the Group companies also undertake to provide financial and insurance support to businesses in the Turin area and its surrounding area for their research, development, innovation, growth and internationalization needs.
