CDP: the mortgage renegotiation plan for 6.600 local entities is under way

The new plan kicks off mortgage renegotiation launched by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) to support Municipalities, Provinces and Metropolitan Cities.

Through an rimodulation of the loan repayment profile, this operation will make it possible to free up significant resources, useful for generating a significant positive impact on the territory. The operating procedures for proceeding with the renegotiation by the Entities are outlined in Circular n.1303. During the acceptance period, which runs from 6 to 26 April 2023, CDP will make available the list of original loans, announcing the related economic conditions for renegotiation in the section dedicated to the Public Administration on the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti website.

Entirely digital process

Entries will be able to finalize theapplication process in entirely digital mode, from the initial preliminary phase to the contractual one. A mode that will speed up and simplify the entire process. The transaction will allow the institutions to free up resources that can be used immediately to support services in the area, to the benefit of families and businesses, and can also be used for planned investments in a scenario characterized by the uncertainty linked to the current macroeconomic and geopolitical context. which produced significant increases in energy and raw material costs.
