Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) issued a financing da 50 million of euros in favor of Finlombarda, financial company of the Lombardy Region, for the SME and Mid-Cap development of the territory.
The goal is to support the entrepreneurial fabric of Lombardy e promote investment of smaller companies to generate a positive economic impact in the region. The SMEs and Mid Caps of the region will thus have the opportunity to make new investments aimed at the purchase of machinery, the growth in size and the expansion of their business into new markets, with positive effects on employment and the environment.
Loans for a maximum amount of 7,5 million
La Regional Finance will be able to grant new loans of maximum amount of 7,5 million and minimum duration not less than 24 months. In addition, at least 51% of the CDP funding must be made available to PMI. The new resources will be able to help generate a positive impact on the environmental and employment dimension of all the companies involved.
The new initiative strengthens the collaboration between CDP and Finlombarda, already active in the field of alternative finance with the Lombardy Elite Basket Bond Program, which to date has seen lissue of minibonds by four companies in Lombardy for a total amount of 37 million.
The new operation is in line with the CDP Strategic Plan 2022-2024 and aims, in full synergy and complementarity with the banking system, to be ever closer to businesses with the aim of promoting and facilitating their investments.
