Yesterday the Russian oil company Rosneft officially entered the capital of Pirelli with 13%, while its chairman, Igor Sechin, made his entry into the board of directors of the tire company.
Thus ended the reorganization of Camfin, the safe that has 26,19% of the Bicocca group. The Russians now own 50%, while the other half belongs to a newco owned by Tronchetti's Nuove Partecipazioni with 76% and by Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit, with 12% each.
The four representatives of the Clessidra fund (which exits from Pirelli) and the two of Nuove Partecipazioni have resigned from the Board of Directors of Pirelli.
