It is produced by an Italian jewelery brand, Caviar Italy, which presented on the Russian version of its site the so-called Putinfonovi (Putin's smartphone), a line of iPhones covered in 18-karat gold, with a portrait of the President of the Russian Federation and a quote from the hymn.
“It's time to feel genuine pride – reads the Russian site of Caviar – and express your position. Without words: just by placing on the table a gold telephone, handmade with a portrait of one's head of state: Vladimir Putin”. The price of the gadget is around 3.000 euros.
This is the price to pay for the celebration of what, according to Forbes and the Times, is the most powerful man in the world: "Caviar's jewelers chose him among the most important figures of our time". The Russian press was delighted with the news: the production of Putinfonovi "can be considered as a sign of solidarity of Italian jewelers and recognition of the authority of the Russian leader".
