Cattolica, S&P confirms BBB rating and outlook

Standard & Poor's today confirmed Cattolica's rating at BBB and stable outlook. Cattolica's stand-alone credit profile (SACP) is confirmed at bbb+, one notch higher than the BBB financial strength rating, which remains limited by that of the Italian Republic, according to the provisions of the Agency's criteria. The outlook remains stable and reflects that relating to the sovereign debt of the Italian Republic.

The Agency also confirmed the BB+ rating of both listed bond issues issued by the Cattolica Group. Today in Piazza Affari, the Cattolica Assicurazioni share gains 0,66% in the mid-afternoon, to 7,59 euros per share, on a day that tends to be weak for the Ftse Mib price list.
