The building has been purchased by Cattolica Assicurazioni in 2020 and it's called Building Cinturato, in homage to the iconic tire of Pirelli, which inaugurated radial technology in the 4s. The building, which houses services for Pirelli employees and is part of the architectural project that transformed the Pirelli headquarters in Milan into a real campus surrounded by greenery, has been recognized as a champion of environmental sustainability, winning the rating ' Gold' in the LEED v.66 certification for Building Design and Construction – New Construction and Major Renovations, with a score of XNUMX points and particularly relevant evaluations in water saving and reduction of energy consumption.

The Cinturato Building, in particular, houses all the facilities for employees: from training rooms to wellness rooms, from an event space to a café & bistro, up to a company restaurant with outdoor spaces. The LEED certification is the result of a voluntary initiative by Pirelli & C., to which the property was leased, and of the property, the real estate FIA ​​under Italian law called Girolamo subscribed 100% by the Cattolica Assicurazioni Group, represents recognition to the their common goal of supporting the development of a highly environmentally sustainable real estate project. Deerns Italia had the role of designer of the mechanical and electrical systems and of the facades, as well as LEED consultant for the design and construction phase.

The company has also carried out specialized dynamic energy and daylight modeling activities, also covering the role of Commissioning Authority for carrying out the commissioning of the plants.
