Digital drawer, 1 million companies that use it

It is a tool increasingly used by companies Digital drawer of the entrepreneur, an initiative launched in 2017 by chamber system with the intention of creating a role of "interface" between the entrepreneurial world and the public administration: Unioncamere communicated that it has reached one million adhesions from companies. The data has literally exploded since Covid: subscriptions have doubled and the average frequency of daily accesses to the digital drawer has doubled - from 1500 to 7300 -, as well as tripled those through Spid (the Public System for Digital Identity). From the Drawer, entrepreneurs have been able to download up to now, free of charge, 2,5 million official documents of their companies, with a daily average which, compared to the pre-covid period, has gone from 1300 to 3700 documents.

In fact, the Drawer allows all Italian entrepreneurs, sole proprietorships as well which in fact represent 79% of activations, to access the official documents of their company, deposited in the Business Register of the Chambers of Commerce, to download them for free – even on the move – and share them easily, securely and quickly. Among these, the visura (also in English), the list of shareholders and directors, the deed of incorporation, the statute, the budget, the history of changes, the merger, the appointment of directors, the power of attorney, the file of company, the substitutive declaration of the certificate of registration in the Company Register for each signatory.

Unioncamere has also pitted some data: 85% of the entrepreneurs who use this platform are in charge of a company with fewer than 10 employees, 25% are women, 56% are aged between 45 and 65 and 20% lead a trade company. Milan (75), Rome (68) and Naples (33) are the provinces with the highest number of drawers activated. In relation to local businesses, however, the provinces of Calabria and Puglia (with utilization rates above 30%) and Friuli Venezia Giulia (around 25%) stand out. Almost 60% of memberships concern owners of quotas or shares, owners or sole directors. Half (51%) of the enterprises are in the form of joint stock companies (almost all Srl) and 27% that of sole proprietorships, testifying to the interest aroused by the Chambers of Commerce service towards smaller and more risky enterprises of digital marginalization.
