The “Spazio CDP” opens in Modena. The new territorial agreement between Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, the Modena Foundation, the Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì Foundation and the Cassa di Risparmio di Parma Foundation aims to support businesses and public administrations. The headquarters of the new “Spazio CDP” will be at the Modena Chamber of Commerce. The next info points will be at Parma and Forlì, and then also extended to other Italian cities.
Also, part the “Mobility & Digital Acceleration” fund e the Motor Valley Accelerator accelerator, managed by CDP and implemented together with the Modena Foundation and UniCredit, to encourage the development of innovative start-ups in the automotive and mobility sector, the creation and development of other acceleration programs in synergistic and complementary areas linked to mobility, with particular focus on innovation and sustainability.
In detail, the agreement is part of the collaboration between ACRI (Associations of Foundations and Casse di Risparmio Spa) and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, with the aim of further strengthening the presence of CDP in the area and cooperation with the individual Foundations for the development of joint projects for the benefit of local communities.
Furthermore, the project is part of CDP's new approach focused on Sustainable Development territories, through renewed support for all stakeholders and with particular attention to small and medium-sized businesses.
The opening of the “Spazio CDP” in Modena – which will be followed by the information points in Forlì and Parma – represents one of the milestones in the wider program of opening new CDP offices in Italy, which has already seen the opening of the offices in Florence, Genoa, Naples, Turin and Verona, the "Spazio CDP" in Cagliari, Perugia, Sassari, Trento and Rovereto and which, in full compliance with the anti-Covid regulations, will continue in the coming months with the openings of the offices in Ancona, Bari, Milan and Rome and of further information points throughout the country.
In the "Spazio CDP" of Modena, Forlì and Parma it will be possible to meet the CDP representatives, who will provide integrated support to both public and private subjects, making a system of the different needs and increasing cohesion with the territory.
The involvement of Foundations in CDP initiatives makes it possible to increase financial leverage and the effectiveness of interventions to support the growth of the economic and social fabric. With the same objective, CDP, the Modena Foundation, the Cassa dei Risparmi di Forlì Foundation and the Cassa di Risparmio di Parma Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding for the promotion of initiatives to strengthen the infrastructural system, sustainable urban development and economic revitalization of the territory.
