Indict Filippo Penati, former mayor of Sesto San Giovanni and former President of the Province of Milan: this is the request made by the prosecutors of Monza Walter Mapelli and Franca Macchia, owners of the file for corruption, extortion and illicit party financing in the investigation into an alleged round of bribes in the former Falck and Marelli areas, at the time when Penati was mayor of the municipality on the outskirts of Milan. The request, in addition to Penati, concerns about 20 other people, including his former right-hand man Giordano Vimercati.
