Home: Imu decree signed, Government towards extension of restructuring and energy bonuses

Not just Imu. The brick occupies at least another page of Italian politics. Filed the decree for the suspension of the tax on the first home - which was signed by the President of the Republic and tonight will appear in the Official Gazette - we return to talk about restructuring.

The debate was relaunched by the Minister for Infrastructure, Maurizio Lupi, who today in the Environment commission in the Chamber proposed to extend the tax bonuses on renovations and for energy saving. This would be a "priority" of the Government, which intends to "immediately find the resources to finance the extension of the 50% and 55% bonuses until at least 31 December 2013".

The aim is to include interventions for the anti-seismic adaptation of buildings in the package, which in reality is already included in the Irpef discounts on renovations (the so-called 50%). “If there is any investment that has moved in recent years – continued Lupi – it is thanks to these incentives. They must be refinanced immediately without waiting for the June 30 deadline".
