Expensive petrol without respite, in the South it rises up to 1.67

It was a weekend marked by hikes in fuel prices. Eni's surge has led to a generalized increase in prices throughout the Italian network of about 2 cents on the recommended prices.
In detail, Esso increased the prices of petrol and diesel by 1.5 cents, IP 2.4 and 2 cents, respectively for petrol and diesel, Q8 and Shell 2 cents in both cases, Tamoil 2.2 on both while Total Erg 2.2 cents for green and 2 on diesel.

The surge has also definitely affected the prices charged in the area. All the companies have on average abundantly exceeded the threshold of 1.62 euro/litre. Peaks in the South where the record figure of 1.67 €/l was reached. Diesel is now close to the average price of 1.5 euros per litre, even if in some areas of the country it has already reached 1.52.
Increases have also been recorded for no-logos.

Analysts emphasize, that if last week's price hike was due to the increase in excise duties, the week that has now ended has seen a generalized and uninterrupted increase in fuel prices at an international level. The devaluation of the euro against the dollar weighs heavily, but even more so the drop in US stocks. As if that weren't enough, the trend seems to convince experts that the prospects for the coming week could be even worse.
