Beef, alarm for those arriving from Poland

The Polish TV TVN24 denounced the scandal of the uncontrolled slaughter of sick cows that are placed on the market and exported with very serious dangers to the health of those who buy them and today Poland is Italy's leading beef supplier

Beef, alarm for those arriving from Poland

Yet another alarm in Europe, for the continuation arrivals of rotten beef from Visegrad countries (Eastern Europe), with serious consequences for our health, especially in Italy.

An alarm caused by recently uncovered scandal in Poland, our prime supplier of beef for its bargain prices. Meat from cows that died of terrible diseases, dragged to the slaughterhouse, slaughtered but "rigged" and packaged as very healthy for European supermarket chains.

We eat rubbish, regularly imported, never blocked because it comes from countries where there are no controls, and the vast majority of farm animals are sick, full of antibiotics and strange drugs, inflated and taken to clandestine slaughterhouses, then dissected and packaged as perfectly healthy.

There are many of these slaughterhouses in the Visegrad countries, the countries that would be our "friends", and they are increasing because the governments "advise against" the controls. As he explains Paula's house, all of this has been denounced once again by journalists who risk their jobs and their lives, this time by the Polish television station TVN24, by scientific associations and by the English newspaper Guardian. Clandestinely shot images show processions of poor cows that cannot stand, and that once slaughtered are transformed into refrigerated or frozen packages and then sold in Europe.

Poland has become our main supplier of beef with almost 23 percent of the total. And we import huge quantities of very cheap beef, but most of it is of poor quality.

The appearance of these meats seems regular because they pump other preservatives into the packs after extracting tumors, inflammations, edemas and make them up. These are illegal and highly dangerous practices - as Animal Science, Ethics and Law Veterinary Association denounced to the Guardian - but which pay a lot to the Visegrad countries and unscrupulous breeders. Just one fact: Poland exports beef worth 1,5 billion dollars and with constantly growing indices.
