Carmignac Management traces the picture of the global economic situation in the month of January, then going on to observe its development throughout 2013, a year that began under the sign of economic deceleration in China, the entry into recession of the Eurozone, the weak recovery in the United States.
A framework, the one for the current year, which, according to the editorial of the Investment Committee, cannot fail to depend on the recent renewal of the executive in important countries such as the United States, France, China and Japan, as well as, shortly, in Italy and Germany.
It will therefore be the political choices, daughters of a reinforced governance (especially in Europe) that will have to give back impetus for growth and confidence in the population, seeking a fair way between liberal orthodoxy and Keynesian policies. A discourse, this, which also embraces emerging economies, which need a rebalancing towards consumption.
In the attached text, Carmignan Gestion also presents its investment strategy updated in January.
