I extraordinary commissioners of Carige have already received the Fitd proposal last week together with Cassa Centrale Banca, which aims to become the Ligurian institute's industrial partner. The letters of intent have already been sent to the ECB.
At this point the commissioners must call a meeting of the assembly to approve the increase up to 700 million, which will be followed by the issuance of a 2 million tier 200 bond, for a total maneuver of 900 million euros. The Fitd will also have to receive authorization from the ECB to raise more than 10% of Carige. The operation should complete within the end of the year.
