Carige sells 0,6% of Generali, capital gain of 3-4 million

In early 2013, Banca Carige has sold its entire stake in Genarali, equal to 0,6%, achieving one capital gain of about 3-4 million. The transaction was carried out as part of the capital strengthening and balance sheet cleaning activity.

This was announced by the general manager of the Ligurian institute, Ennio La Monica, explaining that "sales did not take place in a single solution, but progressively, starting from January, which was a very positive month, before the case mps. We got off to a good start and made the most of that momentum.”

Carige was in possession of Generali shares for a value of around 200 million. At the beginning of the afternoon, the Bank's stock dropped 1,44%.
